Sta. Magdalena is located in the southernmost tip of Luzon. It is one of the many coastal towns of Sorsogon. Magdalena is known among Sorsoganons for its coves and beaches. Despite its anonymity, this town has a lot of sights to see and people to meet.
From Metro Manila, Sta. Magdalena is accessible via land transportation or plane (Bicol International Airport). From Manila, a direct bus route to Sta. Magdalena is available at the Araneta Cubao Bus Station. Buses normally leave between 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Jeepney transports are available from Sorsogon going to Sta. Magdalena up to 4:00 pm. A good option is to take transport to Matnog and disembark at the Sta. Magdalena Crossing where tricycles are available. For those coming from the Visayas, the RORO service from Samar to Matnog then to Sta. Magdalena. Our town is approximately 12 km from Matnog.
