Being fun in here is not only because of the beauty of its nature but also because of the town people of Sta. Magdalena who will prove to you that it's more fun in the Philippines.
The original name of Sta. Magdalena was “Busaingan.” The term implies “Water Breakers” or the place where sea waters smash. It is presumed that the earliest settlers must have been Datu Dumaguil’s tribe. The place was part of Bulusan where the first Spanish explorers and missionaries during the latter part of the sixteenth century made contact with the natives who were converted to Christianity.
The “Busaingan Festival” is one of the town fiesta activities which is a potential tourist attraction, this festival promotes the traditions and culture of the municipality.
