GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. Bb. Busaingan is exclusively open to bona fide residents of the Municipality of Santa Magdalena, Sorsogon, who possess any of the following criteria: a. born in Santa Magdalena, Sorsogon; b. born with a parent whose roots are from the municipality; or c. maintains at least five (5) years minimum stay in the municipality.
2. Contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 25 as of July 1 in the year of competition.
3. Contestants must not be married or pregnant, have had a marriage annulled, or have given birth to or parented a child.
4. NO REGISTRATION FEE will be collected from each applicant.
REQUIREMENTS

2. Photocopy of NSO/PSA/Local Birth Certificate
3. Certificate of Residency duly signed by the Punong Barangay
4. Endorsement letter certified by the barangay that she will represent
5. 5R Size – One (1) full-body picture – a softcopy must be sent to busaingantourism@gmail.com
Note: The above-stated documentary requirements shall be submitted in a Long Brown Envelope. Should an applicant encounter difficulties with the Google Form, they can freely visit the MTCAO to get a copy. Deadline of submission of all the requirements will be on June 7, 2023.
EXPOSURES The candidates are required to prepare the following costumes/ attire for the different events and coronation night:
1. Busaingan Festival Costume- the costume must depict any of the characters in the “Alamat ni Busaingan” giving emphasis on the core values Pagtubod, Paglaom, Pagkamoot, Pagkasararo. Draw lots will be done after the screening process.
2. *Swimsuit- one-piece blue and white swimsuit with an advocacy cape in dimension with the candidate's body.
3. *Production Number- White mid-cut infinity dress.
4. Evening Gown- long gown in any shades of blue except for pastel colors.
5. *Printed white shirt bearing pageant logo which will be worn in all corporate community outreach events.
6. Street Wear Denim costumes for the official photoshoot. * A white mid-cut infinity dress, printed white shirts, and a one-piece swimsuit will be provided by the pageant organization. Meanwhile, advocacy cape must be personally made by the candidate.
